yo-samchii: 5yearoldheart: Soon Lee supermarket at Markham & Lawrence. Now closed after 20 years of business. I grew up going to this oriental supermarket because I literally lived behind it. It was the go to grocery store for my family. It’s odd and funny how this grocery store became part of my life. Every time someone asked me where I lived I would reply “Markham & Lawrence, behind Soon Lee.” It has been an icon grocery store in the neighbourhood and it will be interesting to see the change. Thanks Soon Lee for the yummy mangoes and crab playing memories.  nooooooo!!!! :(
